Krista Polanksy graduated from William & Mary Law School in May 2022 and joined the Veterans Benefits group of Goodman Allen Donnelly as a legal clerk soon after. Upon passing the Bar Exam she was promoted as an Associate attorney.

Krista discovered her passion for helping veterans in 2016 when she volunteered as a trainer for a nonprofit that connects service dogs with veterans. In 2021, she combined her legal training and passion for helping veterans when she spent the summer working for the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic at William & Mary Law School. Working full time for the clinic allowed Krista to gain knowledge regarding the representation of veterans in the VA system.

Krista engages in trainings and continuing legal education seminars to expand her knowledge in the field. She has also worked as a legal researcher, studying the implication of neuroscience on the law using her background as a biomedical engineer and specialized knowledge of cellular and molecular engineering. Krista is honored to spend every day serving veterans and their families.
