Jeffery M. Coombs
Jeff Coombs joined Goodman Allen Donnelly in April 2017. His practice focuses on the following areas: representation of churches and ministries; business issues; corporate matters; contracts; sales and acquisitions; and commercial leases.
Before pursuing law, Jeff studied theology and related disciplines. He is honored to use his skills as a corporate lawyer to support individuals and organizations that engage in ministry, serving as outside general counsel to churches and other charitable organizations.
Jeff spent a number of years in business, in the food and nutritional industries. Because of this background, he has an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in regard to governmental compliance, contractual obligations, and day-to-day operations. Jeff received his law degree from Regent University School of Law and was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1993. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at his alma mater, teaching Mergers and Acquisitions.
