Jeff Kiser joined Goodman Allen Donnelly in 2017 to help expand the firm’s estate planning and business law practices, drawing from his comprehensive background in asset management and protection from his “first career” as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Incorporated.  Always apt to learn new things and expand his legal acumen, his areas of practice have expanded to include civil litigation as a member of the Medical Malpractice defense team as well as representation in matters of Estate Disputes, Business and Corporate Debt/Liability, and Premise/Products Liability. Estate Planning and Estate disputes, Elder Law and/or Guardianship/Conservatorship, Business and Corporate Debt/Liability, Premise/Products Liability,  and  Real Estate litigation (representing landlords in matters of Landlord/Tenant disputes).

Prior to joining the firm, Jeff began his career as an estate planning and business law attorney with a small firm in Virginia Beach where he assisted in the creation of an outgrowth that would become Inherit Legal Solutions, a division of Goodman Allen Donnelly, upon merger in 2017. Jeff’s background also includes extensive work with a local firm as well as with the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Chesapeake which offered civil litigation experience in the areas of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), legal privacy standards, sovereign immunity, workers compensation, the Department of Human Services, real property disputes, the fire code, zoning, and copyright/ patent law.

A Virginia native, Jeff earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, his Bachelor of Arts in Economics as a Patrick Henry Scholar from Hampden-Sydney College, and is a graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
