The firm’s nurse attorney, Eileen Talamante, Esq., RN, BSN, will lead a panel discussion at The American Association of Nurse Attorneys’ 2020 virtual conference. The topic, “Career Options for Nurse Attorneys”, will feature four panelists discussing a wide range of career options specifically suited for Nurse Attorneys in a variety of both public and private settings. The discussion will focus on identifying career path opportunities for those with a dual license in nursing and law, and will include common ethical dilemmas faced by Nurse Attorneys, the pros and cons of various career options, and a variety of practice related issues commonly encountered by Nurse Attorneys.
TAANA provides resources, education and leadership to its members and the healthcare and legal communities. A resource for the healthcare and legal communities, the organization functions to promote and enhance the Nurse Attorney profession by providing educational opportunities and collaboration among attorneys, nurses and other health care professionals including risk managers, legal nurse consultants and students preparing to enter these professions. The virtual conference brings together national experts in legal practice, nursing practice, administration, and higher education to share common issues, case analysis, best practices, networking, challenges, and referrals. The conference provides legal and health professionals an opportunity to share information regarding health law and policy in legal issues as they relate to the health care industry.
