Favorable Verdict in Newport News

of our Norfolk office recently obtained a defense verdict in favor of the orthopedic surgeon they represented
in a medical malpractice case in Newport News Circuit Court. The plaintiff, who is left hand dominant,
alleged that she received negligent treatment from the defendant when she fell and broke her left arm
causing it to heal improperly, create a visible deformity and interfere with her ability to work.
Plaintiff's last demand for settlement was $1,250,000.
