Our Summer Associate Program provides qualified candidates with a unique opportunity to transition their academic experiences into practicality. The rotational nature of the position allows our summer associates to delve firsthand into myriad assignments. Typically, a Summer Associate may conduct research on issues related to medical malpractice, automobile insurance defense, intellectual property and products liability, participate in mediations and depositions, draft pleadings, assist in trial preparation and attend trials. Our Associates perform these duties under the tutelage of different attorneys who monitor the associate's progress and evaluate the results. Summer Associates are expected to work during normal business hours and for a duration of time which is agreed upon prior to the internship.

Goodman Allen & Filetti regards its Summer Associates as valuable members of its team, not as auxiliary players. To that end, they are included in all the firm's social and community activities during their internship.

This program provides an effective arena in which the summer associate and the firm can arrive at mutual consideration for permanent career possibilities.
