Ms. Kimble focuses her practice on the representation of health care practitioners, physician practice groups, and hospitals in medical negligence actions. She also advises health care facilities in the areas of risk management, guardianship and judicial authorization for medical treatment, informed consent, patient competency and advance directives, and represents health care providers facing criminal prosecution for addiction and related issues.
Prior to joining Goodman Allen & Filetti, Ms. Kimble practiced as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia, and litigated cases in numerous jurisdictions across Virginia. Ms. Kimble earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she was awarded a Law-Medicine Scholarship and served as the Honor Court's Chief Justice. Her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Bioethics from the University of Virginia adds to her unique ability to understand and guide clients through the complexities of healthcare litigation
