McCauley Speaks at Surgery Summit
September 2005
Kathleen M. McCauley was an invited speaker at the 2nd Annual Bariatric Summit held September 15-17, 2005 on Amelia Island, Florida. Ms. McCauley addressed the audience of general surgeons, bariatric surgeons, primary care physicians and allied health professionals on the legal issues surrounding the use of surgery as a treatment for the obese. This national three day conference brought health care professionals together to discuss and explore leading edge clinical and technical innovations related to the care and management of obese patients. Ms. McCauley is a frequent lecturer and author on the subject of risk management/medicolegal issues and bariatric surgery. See more.
