Virginia Lawyers Weekly has compiled a compendium of "Million-Dollar Med-Mal Defense Verdicts" for 2006 and published them in the March 2007 issue of Virginia Medical Law Reports. These cases represent defense verdicts in medical malpractice cases handed down by actual juries where the amount sued for or the final demand for settlement was at least $1 million. Six of the reported defense verdicts belong to Goodman, Allen & Filetti and represent the largest number of defense verdicts for any given firm represented in the survey..
