Mr. Filetti is a founding member and in keeping with his strong Naval background heads up the Norfolk office of Goodman Allen & Filetti, PLLC. Mr. Filetti started his litigation career as he served on active duty in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the United States Navy. With more than 25 years of civil litigation experience and advanced degrees from Penn State University (M.R.P) and George Washington University School of Law (LL.M), Mr. Filetti has focused his practice primarily in the areas of Professional Liability Defense, Commercial Litigation, Real Estate and Health Care Law. Mr. Filetti has represented health care defendants in over 50 civil jury trials. He is a frequent lecturer to health care providers on the issues of medical legal liability and medical ethics. Mr. Filetti recently retired as a Captain from the Naval Reserves, where he served for 7 years as a military judge with the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Trial Judiciary.
